Jordyn Woods has opened up about how she wants to set a good example for her little sister after admitting that she’s faced a lot of “disrespect” during the past few months.
In videos pieced together by the Daily Mail, the 21-year-old made reference to her cheating scandal with Tristan Thompson, which had a devastating impact on her friendship with Kylie Jenner.
With Jordyn appearing on a panel for the Homecoming Nigeria festival, she told the interviewer that her recent drama has caused her to think twice about what it means to be a black woman in 2019.
“My little sister was bullied in school and I wanted to show her that I was bullied by the world,” she began.
Jordyn continued: “I understood for the first time what it’s like being a black woman—in a just society, how we can be so disrespected and nobody can really understand to that extent until you have to live it.”
This reiterates what was said during her Red Table Talk interview back in March. At the time, she claimed that her little sister couldn’t attend school and that her mum couldn’t go to the grocery store without being accosted.
As for her friendship with Kylie, a paparazzo at LAX questioned: “Would you be willing to rekindle the friendship and try to make things right with Kylie?” to which Jordyn replied: “I have love for everyone. Always.”
It sounds like the ball is very much in Kylie’s court.
