An explosion apparently targeting a tourist bus near a new museum close to Egypt’s Giza Pyramids has wounded at least 12 people, according to Egyptian officials.
Security officials told Reuters news agency the wounded included tourists.
Pictures from the blast scene on social media showed at least one person covered in blood.
